All The Light We Cannot See is a Pulitzer Prize winning novel written by the acclaimed author Anthony Doerr . This is my first time reading literary fiction . When I posted a photo   of my TBR (To Be Read) pile on Bookstagram , a   few people commented that it is the best book they have read. Hence, I was looking forward to it . It was no doubt a beautifully written story that I truly appreciate but   I am not going to lie – It was exhausting. PUBLICATION YEAR: 2017 GENRE: Romance/ LGBT/Historical Fiction FORMAT: eBook AVAILABLE   ONLINE   : amazon A couple of things were going against this book while I was trying to pick it up for reading. First and foremost, it belongs to a genre that I don’t necessarily enjoy. Secondly, it was an eBook format which I find a little difficult to consume. An eBook /kindle   gives me mild headaches and strains my   eyes if I read for longer hours which is why I prefer physical copies . And the third and final issue was that lately I have been going through a reading slump and I blame my last two books which turned out to be pretty average for me. I half-heartedly picked this up to read and I am so glad I did because I absolutely loved it.
